Job Summary
Assist the Community Manager in directing leasing, maintenance, and housekeeping staff while managing tenant files, processing rent collections, and recording financial data in Yardi software. Prepare legal lease paperwork, oversee security dispositions, and maintain current market knowledge through competitive surveys. Handle resident requests, coordinate utility transfers, and perform annual renewal inspections in compliance with HUD and LIHTC regulations. Generate weekly activity reports, process vendor invoices, and assist with resident events. Requires flexibility for weekends, evenings, and holidays, plus proficiency in Office 365 and mobile devices.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree
- CPM
- Experience in managing LIHTC and HUD multi-family properties
- Property Management Certification (ARM, CAM, etc.)
- 1-2 year's affordable housing leasing experience
- Experience budgeting and community cost control
- Working knowledge of applicable Landlord Tenant Laws
- Working knowledge of Fair Housing Regulations
- Working knowledge of LIHTC/HUD Programs
- Working knowledge of other laws as they relate to property specific guidelines and occupancy standards
- Must be able to travel to and from a bank and other off-site locations
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be willing and able to utilize tablet/mobile devices and software efficiently
- Must have excellent computer skills
- Must have industry software experience
- Must be able to complete all required training within thirty (30) days of hire date
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds
- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for prolonged periods
- Must be able to reach, push, pull
- Must be able to communicate in electronic mail, writing letters, memos, documents, and any other correspondence in written form
