Job Summary
The Assistant Community Manager will oversee day-to-day operations at Mulberry Gardens Apartments, focusing on resident relations, leasing processes, property maintenance, financial management, and compliance with housing regulations. Responsibilities include managing communications with residents, assisting with move-in/out processes, coordinating community events, monitoring occupancy levels, handling rent collection, and ensuring adherence to affordable housing guidelines. Qualifications include a minimum of 2 years of property management experience, preferably in affordable housing, and strong skills in organization, communication, and customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management, with a focus on affordable housing
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with HUD, LIHTC, or other affordable housing programs
- Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal housing regulations
