Job Summary
Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments while preparing daily bank deposits and reconciling accounts. Operate property management software to enter transactions, update records, and generate financial reports. Review resident files to determine outstanding balances, communicate with residents regarding delinquencies, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue. Process vendor invoices, manage communications with contractors, and review move-out files to apply appropriate fees and dispositions. Act as on-site supervisor by organizing daily work, coordinating maintenance tasks, and responding to resident complaints to ensure satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of assistant community management experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to twenty (20) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance
- Ability to physically access all exterior and interior parts of the property and amenities
- Routine local travel
- Rare or occasional travel
- Understanding of lease terms and lease enforcement, including collections
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as a collaborative member of a team
- Demonstrated proficiency in Internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs
- Strong proficiency in using property management software (Yardi, OneSite, Entrata, etc.)
- All licenses and/or certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field
- 1-3 years minimum of relevant experience in residence life and/or property management
- Yardi experience
