Job Summary
Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager in overseeing financial operations of a 350-unit garden-style community, including accounting/bookkeeping, rent collection, invoicing, bank deposits, reconciliations, vendor payments, evictions, move-outs, and resident relations. Requires Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years in property management, strong communication, proficiency with property management software (Yardi/OneSite/Entrata), and ability to supervise on-site operations when the Community Manager is unavailable; California-specific review of move-in files may apply. Onsite role with local travel as needed; competitive benefits and potential bonuses are noted.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field
- 1-3 years minimum of relevant experience in residence life and/or property management
- Understanding of lease terms and lease enforcement, including collections
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as a collaborative member of a team
- Specialized skills: Incumbents must have all licenses and/or certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions
- Valid driver’s license to drive a golf cart on property
- Proficiency in property management software (Yardi, OneSite, Entrata)
