Job Summary
Oversee and manage the financial and operational facets of the community by completing accounting tasks, preparing monthly close-out reports, processing invoices, collecting rent, and performing bank reconciliations. Support leasing and marketing efforts in person to achieve revenue and occupancy goals, including conducting property tours, managing vendor contracts, and enforcing lease agreements through inspections and collections. Act as the on-site supervisor in the absence of the Community Manager, coordinating maintenance tasks, ensuring property safety and cleanliness, and reporting mechanical malfunctions or resident injuries. Maintain relationships with residents and owners while analyzing market trends to implement short- and long-term marketing plans that sustain occupancy. Work 40 hours weekly with typical site hours from Monday through Sunday, including weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- Current Valid Driver's License
- Must be available to work on weekends when scheduled
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions unaccompanied
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights up to twenty (20) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance
- Must be able to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, stoop, and squat
- Proficiency in internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs for reporting purposes
- Strong proficiency in property management software (preferably Entrata Yardi and/or One Site)
Desired Qualifications
- Property Management, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service background sufficient to manage the day-to-day operation of an apartment community
- Communication, Presentation, and Delivery Skills with ability to connect to people at all levels
