Job Summary
As Assistant Community Manager at Dream Live Prosper Communities, you will take charge of day-to-day operations for a portfolio of properties (primarily in Asheville, NC), prioritize resident/tenant relations, provide support for rent collection, assist and supervise leasing operations, oversee physical operation activities, and collaborate with the Community Manager and project/ Construction teams to develop operations for current and future developments across residential, multi-family, and commercial properties. You will also manage vendor relationships (invoicing, coordinating services, obtaining bids), participate in regular property inspections, attend eviction hearings, and maintain leases and contract files while initiating lease renewals and signings. The role requires a proactive approach and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams. Preferred background includes Real Estate/Property Management experience (2+ years), strong organizational skills, and experience with Appfolio and HUD processes.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience in Real Estate or Property Management
- Strong organizational skills
- Apartment management experience preferred
- Appfolio experience preferred
- HUD experience preferred
