Job Summary
Oversee and manage the financial and operational facets of the apartment community by completing accounting tasks, preparing monthly close-outs, processing invoices, collecting rent, and using property management software to track all financial workings. Support leasing and marketing efforts in person to achieve revenue and occupancy goals by completing the full leasing cycle, analyzing market trends, and implementing short- and long-term marketing plans. Conduct property tours, manage vendor and contractor relationships, and enforce lease agreements through inspections and collections. Act as the on-site supervisor in the absence of the Community Manager by organizing daily work, coordinating maintenance tasks, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Perform property tours and provide updates to clients while maintaining safety, cleanliness, and general appearance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be available to work on weekends when scheduled
- Must be able to perform the essential job functions unaccompanied
- Works in an office environment but also have frequent exposure to outside elements where temperatures, weather, odors, and/or landscape may be unpleasant and/or hazardous
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights up to twenty (20) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance
- The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, stoop, and squat
- Current Valid Driver's License
- Routine local travel may be required to run business-related errands including but not limited to meetings and training
- Non-local travel may be required for business-related responsibilities
Desired Qualifications
- Property Management, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service background sufficient to manage the day-to-day operation of an apartment community
- Communication, Presentation, and Delivery Skills with ability to connect to people at all levels
- Strong proficiency in property management software (preferably Entrata Yardi and/or One Site)
