Job Summary

Conduct daily financial operations for the community by collecting rent and fees, processing invoices, completing bank deposits, and reconciling accounts. Prepare monthly close-outs, financial reports, and lease-to-accounting entries using Yardi/OneSite software. Review resident files to determine outstanding balances, communicate with residents regarding delinquencies, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue. Process resident move-outs by applying deposit and cancellation fees in accordance with legal requirements. Act as on-site supervisor during the Community Manager's absence by organizing daily tasks and coordinating maintenance activities. Respond to resident complaints and requests to promote satisfaction and retention. Assist leasing efforts by greeting prospects, showing apartments, and assisting with applications.

Required Qualifications

  • 1-3 years minimum of relevant experience in residence life and/or property management
  • Understanding of lease terms and lease enforcement, including collections
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as a collaborative member of a team
  • Incumbents must have all licenses and/or certifications as required by State and Local jurisdictions
  • Incumbents must have valid driver's license to drive a golf cart on property
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Internet, word processing, spreadsheet, and database management programs
  • Strong proficiency in using property management software (Yardi, OneSite, Entrata, etc.)
  • Incumbents must be able to physically access all exterior and interior parts of the property and amenities
  • Incumbents must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to twenty (20) pounds independently and fifty (50) pounds with assistance
  • Routine local travel
  • Rare or occasional travel

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Communications, or related field from an accredited college or university
