Assistant Community Manager

Job Summary
Support the Community Manager in daily operations and uphold community standards per governing documents and contracts. Conduct monthly inspections to track documents, notify homeowners of compliance issues, and ensure common area safety. Supply information and education to residents regarding association benefits and deed restrictions. Provide oversight of projects as a liaison to service contractors, manage assessment collections, and collaborate with attorneys on payment arrangements. Work directly with the Design Review Committee and oversee site staff and grounds teams. Attend board and committee meetings while maintaining daily interactions with residents and volunteers. Maintain a valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle report, as driving is required for certain functions.
Required Qualifications
- Effective leadership organizational and conflict resolution skills
- 2 or more years in an office environment preferably in community management or similar experience
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Must have excellent telephone etiquette with a commitment to the highest customer service possible
- A multi tasker who is highly organized detail oriented and a self starter
- Proficient computer skills in Windows environment
- Have a stable means of transportation including a valid drivers license and vehicle insurance
- Ability to work a full time schedule with the capacity to occasionally work after hours and on weekends
- All prospective employees must pass a pre employment drug screen driving record and background check
- CAM license preferred Required in Florida Georgia and Nevada within 90 days of hire
- If driving is or becomes a requirement of the role it is required at all times that you hold a valid state drivers license for the class of vehicle you are driving maintain a clean motor vehicle report and hold current automobile insurance at statutory limits
- You must notify Human Resources immediately regarding any change to your motor vehicle standing
- Mobility Ability to walk the grounds long distances in various weather conditions
- Lifting and Carrying Occasionally lifting and carrying supplies or equipment up to 25 pounds
- Extended Sitting or Standing Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events
- Manual Dexterity Skills in using technology including computers and mobile devices
- Driving Ability to operate vehicle to perform certain job functions
Desired Qualifications
- 2 3 years of industry experience in a Community Manager or Assistant Community Manager role is preferred
