Job Summary
Greet prospects, process applications, and manage leases, renewals, and rent collections while enforcing lease terms and initiating evictions when necessary. Show apartments, close sales, prepare units for move-ins, and handle move-outs based on lease terms. Promote resident satisfaction by responding to complaints and maintaining an active social media presence. Conduct market research, survey competing properties, and complete necessary paperwork for peak periods. This role requires a flexible schedule including weekends and nights, with physical demands involving climbing stairs and lifting up to 20 pounds. Based at an RPM Living apartment community, the position supports resident retention and property visibility through direct communication and digital outreach.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one year of experience in customer service or apartment leasing
- A background in accounting combined with customer service is also preferred
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Project Management
- Must be able to read documents, computer screens and data
- Must be able to hear and understand verbal communications in person and over the phone or computer
- Must be able to operate a computer, keyboard, mouse and other office equipment
- A flexible schedule is required and hours include weekdays, nights, and weekends (including Saturdays and Sundays) as needed to meet business needs
- Employment with RPM Living is contingent upon successful completion of a background check as local and federal state requires
- A valid driver's license is preferred; candidates without a license will be provided a liability waiver
