Job Summary
Manage the daily operations of the assigned community, including overseeing sales, pricing, collections, resident services, and maintenance. Inspect the property daily to assess quality and safety, monitor occupancy to maintain 100% levels, and handle resident inquiries and vendor issues. Assist with budget monitoring, expense control, and regulatory compliance for HUD and other program types. Supervise onsite staff in the absence of the Community Manager and coordinate maintenance repairs and capital project bids. Work varied schedules including weekends and holidays to ensure efficient property performance.
Required Qualifications
- Multifamily leasing, sales and/or customer service experience
- Knowledge of apartment management laws and regulations, federal, state, and local
- Knowledge of expense control and financial management
- Valid driver's license or means of immediate transportation
- Training or experience in basic computer use, including common applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience with web-based software used in apartment management
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent
- Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out instructions furnished written and verbally
Desired Qualifications
- Property Manager's or PMIC license
- College degree
- Experience with Yardi Voyager
