Job Summary
Assistant Community Director responsibilities include addressing resident concerns, guiding Leasing Agents in engaging prospects and current residents, training staff, leading rent collection and handling delinquent accounts, assisting with budgeting to improve net operating income, inspecting apartments during move-ins/outs, and serving as acting Property Manager in the manager's absence. Requires at least 1 year of Assistant Property Manager experience, OneSite experience, and strong customer service/leasing abilities, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and reliable transportation. Must be able to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays and demonstrate strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 1-year experience as an Assistant Property Manager at a conventional apartment community is required
- OneSite experience is required
- Attendance and punctuality is essential for success in this position
- Ability to meet and exceed sales and customer service objectives
- Exceptional customer service/leasing skills REQUIRED
- Must have friendly outgoing personality
- Bookkeeping experience preferred
- Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and holidays as required
- Must be reliable and able to take charge in absence of manager
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel & Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver's license and/or access to reliable transportation
