Assistant Community Director

Job Summary

Manage delinquencies, conduct community tours, and market to potential customers in person, by telephone, and via email. Develop and maintain customer service relationships with prospects and residents, close sales, and secure leases. Type leases, complete paperwork, assist with daily office operations, and process property files. Act as stand-in Community Director when unavailable and obtain Fair Housing Certification. Perform additional duties as assigned. Requires high school diploma, multifamily management experience, and strong organizational skills.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience in multifamily residential, customer service or other related industries and experience in management
  • Outgoing and personable in order to establish relationships and market effectively
  • Self-starter; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills, project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to problem solve creatively
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to show and inspect apartments on multiple floors and access the varied terrain of the community
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and sit alternatively depending on specific needs of the day
  • Ability to operate Microsoft, including Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
  • Obtaining Fair Housing Certification
