Assistant Community Director

Job Summary
Conduct monthly reporting, manage delinquencies, and handle resident correspondence while performing community tours and marketing to potential customers. Develop first-class customer service relationships with prospects and residents, close sales, and secure leases by typing leases and completing appropriate paperwork. Assist management in daily office operations, process and maintain property files, and obtain Fair Housing Certification. Act as stand-in Community Director when unavailable and perform additional duties as assigned. Requires high school diploma with some college, multifamily management experience, and ability to operate Microsoft Office. Must be outgoing, self-starter, and able to stand, walk, and sit for varied community terrain.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Experience in multifamily residential, customer service or other related industries and experience in management
- Outgoing and personable in order to establish relationships and market effectively
- Self-starter; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional organizational skills, project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to problem solve creatively
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to show and inspect apartments on multiple floors and access the varied terrain of the community
- Must be able to stand, walk, and sit alternatively depending on specific needs of the day
- Ability to operate Microsoft, including Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
- Fair Housing Certification
