Assistant Community Director

Job Summary

Conduct monthly reporting, manage delinquencies, and develop first-class customer service relationships with residents and prospects. Perform resident correspondence, tour the community, and market to potential customers via in-person visits, telephone, and email. Close sales, secure leases, and complete necessary paperwork including typing leases and maintaining property files. Assist management with daily office operations, obtain Fair Housing Certification, and act as stand-in Community Director when needed. Requires high school diploma, multifamily management experience, and ability to operate Microsoft Office.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience in multifamily residential, customer service or other related industries and experience in management
  • Outgoing and personable in order to establish relationships and market effectively
  • Self-starter; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional organizational skills, project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to problem solve creatively
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to show and inspect apartments on multiple floors and access the varied terrain of the community
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and sit alternatively depending on specific needs of the day
  • Ability to operate Microsoft, including Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
  • Fair Housing Certification
