Assistant Community Director

Job Summary
Manage delinquencies, conduct community tours, and market to potential customers through in-person visits, phone calls, and email to secure leases and close sales. Develop first-class customer service relationships with residents and prospects while typing leases, completing paperwork, and assisting with daily office operations and property file maintenance. Act as stand-in Community Director when needed, obtain Fair Housing Certification, and perform additional duties as assigned. Requires high school diploma, multifamily management experience, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Experience in multifamily residential, customer service or other related industries and experience in management
- Outgoing and personable in order to establish relationships and market effectively
- Self-starter; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional organizational skills, project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to problem solve creatively
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to show and inspect apartments on multiple floors and access the varied terrain of the community
- Must be able to stand, walk, and sit alternatively depending on specific needs of the day
- Ability to operate Microsoft, including Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.
- Obtaining Fair Housing Certification
