Job Summary
Assistant Community Director at a 280-unit garden-style community in Tacoma. Responsibilities include connecting with prospects via email, phone and appointments and conducting virtual and/or in-person unit tours; assisting residents and building rapport to foster a welcoming community; addressing problems between residents and facilitating healthy resident relations; researching market trends and preparing reports for the Community Director; organizing resident events to meet quality standards; managing the leasing and renewal process and maintaining accurate records. Requires 2+ years of property management or 3+ years of leasing experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), strong communication and teamwork, and knowledge of Federal Fair Housing, landlord-tenant, and ADA laws. Onsite role with a Tuesday-Saturday schedule, competitive hourly pay ($29-$31/hour) and benefits, with potential bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of property management experience with 1+ year as an assistant, or 3+ years of leasing/property management experience within the last 10 years required
- Must have experience working at Class A and/or Class B communities
- Must be well-versed in Federal Fair Housing Laws, landlord-tenant laws and ADA Laws
- Customer service experience required
- Onesite and/or Knock experience preferred
- High School Diploma/GED required
