Job Summary
Assistant Community Manager assists the Community Manager in effectively managing the assigned community. In the Community Manager's absence, will assume responsibilities to accomplish community objectives as set forth by the Regional Manager. Responsible for general administration of the property and related secretarial and accounting functions; duties include maintaining resident files, managing office/vendor files, typing letters/memos/leases, assisting with work orders and purchase orders, ordering supplies, typing monthly reports, maintaining daily logs, assisting in assessments/receipts, coordinating with attorney and property manager on legal collections, and maintaining courteous communication with owners/residents/other representatives. Requires two years’ experience as Assistant Community Manager or equivalent, High school education or equivalent, typing skills, and CMCA or CAM designation.
Required Qualifications
- Two years' experience as Assistant Community Manager or equivalent field, such as full-time secretarial experience
- High school education or equivalent in work experience
- Accredited resident manager or similar designation such as the Certified Manager Community Associations (CMCA) or Certified Apartment Manager (CAM)
