Assistant Commercial Manager

Assistant Commercial Manager to support delivery of major capital projects for a leading international architecture and design firm. Responsibilities include driving commercial management from project inception through completion, preparing detailed cost forecasts and budget reports, collaborating with project managers and engineering teams to estimate costs (including sub-consultancy services and overheads), preparing internal and external sub-consultancy agreements, conducting due diligence on insurance policies, initiating change requests, preparing variation orders, supporting QA/QC of team deliverables, maintaining a Master variation tracker, contributing to group-level reporting and stakeholder engagement, leading development of sub-consultant trackers, ensuring complete and auditable records of commercial documentation, implementing cost-control measures, and reviewing invoices and claims. Requires a degree in accounting/finance/engineering or related field and 8 years’ cost/commercial management experience in real estate; strong analytical and negotiation skills; proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Power BI, CRM tools, and Oracle. Familiarity with FIDIC contracts and project management processes preferred.
