Job Summary
Administer and assist the Head Coach in managing all aspects of the NJCAA Division III women's basketball program, including coaching, travel logistics, equipment management, and student-athlete supervision. Provide on-site supervision during practices and games, monitor academic progress, and prioritize student-athlete degree requirements when scheduling competitions. Recruit new student-athletes, participate in fundraising and promotion projects, and develop seasonal program reports. Maintain familiarity with NJCAA, regional, and college policies while representing the institution with integrity. Treat opposing coaches, officials, and colleagues with respect.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study
- Coaching experience at the college/university or high school level
- Excellent communication skills
- Organizational skills
- Teaching skills
- Supervisory skills
- Leadership
- Professional behavior when working with student-athletes
- Ability to work cooperatively with other members of the faculty, staff, and administration
- Willingness to accept responsibility for accomplishment of program objectives under the direction of the appropriate professional staff member
- Valid driver's license free of any major violations
