Job Summary
Assist the Varsity Water Polo Head Coach with all aspects of the program, including skill development, practice planning, and game execution. Monitor instructional methods to maximize player growth while ensuring compliance with school and conference policies. Represent the school at league meetings and manage equipment distribution. Serve as a positive role model for student-athletes, prioritizing safety and fostering an environment of care and support. Work directly with the Director of Athletics and Principal on hiring, supervision, and evaluation. This part-time role runs from August through mid-November, with additional off-season meetings and duties required. Candidates must be available during after-school hours and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Playing experience and/or knowledge of the sport
- Candidates must be available during after-school hours and weekends
- Off-season meetings and duties are also required
- First Aid CPR or willingness to do so
- NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching Certificate or willingness to do so
- Commit to carry out their duties and responsibilities in a manner that clearly and unconditionally demonstrates support of and respect for the school's mission and Catholic identity
Desired Qualifications
- Previous high school or college coaching experience
