Job Summary

Assist in leading the varsity girls basketball program under the Athletic Director. Plan and conduct practices and competitions; teach sport-specific skills, strategies, conditioning, and fundamentals aligned with student-athletes’ ages and abilities. Develop practice plans and game strategies to promote individual and team success; foster teamwork, leadership, discipline, accountability, and sportsmanship. Promote academic success and personal development; maintain safety procedures during practices, games, travel, and activities. Coordinate equipment, uniforms, facilities, and program needs; communicate effectively with students, parents, staff, and administration; maintain attendance, schedules, rosters, and other program documentation. Support recruitment, retention, and participation; uphold the mission and standards of the school athletic program.
