Job Summary
Assist the head coach with planning and teaching student-athletes the rules, techniques, and equipment to become better football players. Direct individual and group practice activities as assigned, while monitoring student-athletes during practices and competitions. This role supports the development of individuals and the team within the E. C. Glass High School Football program, reporting to the Athletic Director. Previous coaching experience and completion of a mandatory Virginia High School League certification are required.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in football and football techniques
- Completed or completed a mandatory coaches certification class under the Virginia High School League
- Minimal travel may be required to and/or from sporting events within neighboring localities
