Job Summary
Assistant Coach Varsity Baseball responsibilities include coaching student athletes to improve personal and teamwork skills, providing guidance and accountability to help students benefit from program participation, assisting with development of off-season activities, coordinating practice schedules, helping with game strategy and recruitment, maintaining proper communications with head coach, parents, and administrators, promoting academic success, ensuring proper use and care of district property, and upholding district policies and the athletic conduct code. The role requires maintaining safety, adhering to health and eligibility requirements, and preserving confidentiality of privileged information while supporting program goals.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Pupil Activity Supervisor Permit
- Coaching and program specific skills
- Meets all mandated health screening requirements
- Record free of criminal violations enabling public school employment
- Ability to establish working relationships and function as part of a cohesive team
- Available to work irregular hours and/or a non-traditional schedule
