Job Summary
Instruct student-athletes in fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training while fostering moral values, self-discipline, and confidence. Transport players to and from competitions and run independent practices when the head coach is absent. Assist with leadership during all-day and afternoon tournaments, manage athlete health and safety, and model sportsman-like conduct toward officials and spectators. Participate in parent nights, banquets, and award ceremonies. Requires high school coaching experience, NFHS Fundamentals, and First Aid/CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- Coaching experience at the high school or middle school level
- NFHS Fundamentals of Coaching
- Concussion Training
- Sudden Cardiac Arrest Training
- First Aid/CPR
- Competency in teaching and modeling character and responsible behavior
- Substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport
- Consent to a background check
- Commitment to the Code of Conduct policy
- Completion of online and in-person trainings
