Job Summary
Collaborate with the Head Coach to develop and implement the NCAA Division III athletics program, fostering a positive and inclusive team culture. Coach and teach sport-specific skills during practices and competitions while coordinating player development through skill enhancement and individualized instruction. Assist with practice planning, game strategy, scouting, and video analysis, analyzing game film and statistical data to improve performance. Conduct pre-season, in-season, and post-season player evaluations and assist with recruiting academically and athletically qualified student-athletes. Monitor student-athlete academic progress, coordinate administrative responsibilities including travel and equipment, and maintain NCAA and institutional compliance. Maintain CPR/AED and First Aid certifications and serve as a mandatory reporter. This full-time, 10-month position includes days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel as required by practices, competitions, and recruiting activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Understanding of NCAA Division III rules and regulations
- Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/AED and First Aid certifications
- Ability to successfully complete the NCAA Division III Rules Test
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with coaches, student-athletes, faculty, and staff
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive student-athlete experience
- Full-time, 10-month position
- Work schedule includes days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and travel as required by practices, competitions, recruiting activities, team travel, and other departmental responsibilities
Desired Qualifications

- Experience recruiting student-athletes in an NCAA environment
