Job Summary

Assist in developing and leading a middle school cheer program under the Athletic Director. Plan, organize, and conduct practices, teach sport-specific skills and conditioning, and develop game strategies to promote individual and team success. Foster teamwork, leadership, accountability, and good sportsmanship; ensure safety procedures during practices, games, travel, and activities. Coordinate equipment, facilities, and program needs; communicate effectively with student-athletes, parents, school staff, and administration; maintain attendance records and program documentation. Support recruitment, retention, and participation within the athletic program; uphold the mission, values, and standards of the school. Required Qualifications

  • Previous coaching experience in the assigned sport or related athletic experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of sport-specific rules, techniques, strategies, and player development.
  • CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
  • Background check and fingerprint clearance as required.
