Job Summary
Recruit, retain, and graduate successful student-athletes while executing recruiting strategies to meet program goals. Collaborate with the Head Coach on day-to-day operations, including travel coordination, game day staff management, equipment oversight, camps, and fundraising. Ensure student-athlete academic performance and personal development align with institutional objectives. Adhere to Illinois College, Midwest Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations. Attend regular athletic and admission staff meetings and assume additional administrative responsibilities within the Athletics Department as assigned. Maintain high professionalism toward student athletes, coaches, parents, and the community.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree
- Valid drivers license
- evidence of insurability
- Ability to lift 30 pounds
- Ability to work weekdays, weekends, and some evenings
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant coaching experience at the NCAA level, Division III
- Recruiting experience at the collegiate level, Division III
- Must understand and value the liberal arts experience for students at Illinois College, especially including participation in other sports, clubs and organizations, and having an academic experience
- First Aid and AED certification
