Job Summary
Assist the head coach in planning and operating the Cornell Men’s Baseball program, including helping with practices and games; evaluate performances and make recommendations regarding student-athlete participation; identify, encourage, and evaluate application and acceptance of student-athletes in accordance with Ivy League, NCAA and University policies; contribute to recruiting and developing student-athletes, while adhering to NCAA rules; foster a culture of belonging, collaboration, and respect across diverse campus communities; 11-month, full-time position with a starting salary of $64,500; position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of relevant baseball experience (coaching or competitive collegiate playing) or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven success and potential in coaching, recruiting and developing student-athletes
- Highly motivated with an outstanding work ethic and a relentless recruiter
- Knowledgeable of NCAA rules
- Ability to cultivate and develop inclusive working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and community members
