Job Summary
Assist the head coach with planning and teaching student-athletes the rules, techniques, and equipment to improve volleyball skills. Direct individual and group practice activities while monitoring athletes during practices and competitions. Prioritize safety and ethical conduct in all team interactions. Requires mandatory Virginia High School League certification and essential experience in volleyball techniques. Minimal travel to neighboring localities for sporting events. Reports to the Athletic Director at E. C. Glass High School.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in volleyball and volleyball techniques
- Completed or completed a mandatory coaches certification class under the Virginia High School League
- Minimal travel may be required to and/or from sporting events within neighboring localities
