Job Summary
Responsible for providing a safe and secure school environment for students on school grounds, including patrolling the field, monitoring student behavior, and enforcing school, district, and CHSAA policies; intervene in physical encounters and monitor visitors; assist administrators and public officials with emergencies or investigations; communicate disciplinary processes and outcomes to parents; maintain high visibility in common areas and support a positive learning environment. Must have high school diploma or equivalent, coaching knowledge, ability to work with large groups of students, and hold required certifications including CHSAA, CPR/First Aid/AED, and background clearance. Stipend details apply to the season and eligibility requires adherence to CHSAA and district policies. Additional responsibilities include reporting and documentation related to incidents, collaboration with athletic leadership, and adherence to confidentiality and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience with coaching
- Criminal background check required for hire
- Current CPR, First Aid and AED certifications
- 1 year registered CHSAA or PERM Coach certification
- Current CHSAA certifications required
