Job Summary
Assist with all aspects of the men's and women's golf programs by planning and conducting practices, providing instruction during training and competition, and traveling with the team to tournaments for competition management. Recruit prospective student-athletes who fit academically, athletically, and personally while mentoring athletes in their academic, athletic, and personal development. Support tournament operations, community service initiatives, and fundraising activities, and promote the programs through social media and marketing. Ensure compliance with NCAA, Old Dominion Athletic Conference, and College policies. This part-time role reports to the Head Men's and Women's Golf Coach and fosters a positive team culture reflecting Bridgewater College's mission.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to meet the College's vehicle insurance requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Previous coaching or competitive golf experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with prospective and current student-athletes
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
