Job Summary
Assistant Coach duties for the Girls Volleyball program at Streamwood High School: assist the head coach with organizing the program, conduct practices, motivate student-athletes, and teach game strategies and techniques. Responsibilities include organizing program levels, coordinating schedules and facilities use, ensuring student eligibility, managing equipment and inventory, maintaining safety and facilities, communicating with athletes, parents, staff, and the community, upholding sportsmanship and academic priorities, planning safe daily practices, and collaborating with the head coach on fundraising and record-keeping. Requires ASPA/Illinois teaching certification and First Aid/CPR/AED certification, with the role reporting to the Head Coach and supervising players on their roster.
Required Qualifications
- Proper certification with American Sport Education Program and/or Valid Illinois Teaching certificate
- Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification
