Job Summary
Assistant Coach for Girls Soccer responsible for planning and conducting practices, teaching sport-specific skills, developing game strategies, fostering teamwork and leadership, maintaining safety, coordinating equipment, communicating with student-athletes, parents, staff, and administration, and supporting recruitment and program operations. Emphasizes coaching players across skill levels, promoting academic success and personal development, and upholding school policies and safety procedures during practices, games, travel, and team activities. Requires ability to motivate and mentor student-athletes, manage logistics, and maintain program documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Previous coaching experience in the assigned sport or related athletic experience preferred.
- Knowledge of sport-specific rules, techniques, strategies, and player development.
- Ability to work effectively with high school-aged students in a structured and supportive environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate, mentor, and inspire student-athletes while maintaining high expectations.
