Job Summary
Coaches the girls golf program by instructing athletes in individual and team fundamentals, sportsmanship, cooperation, strategy and conditioning; assists the Athletic Director in scheduling intramural and interscholastic contests and planning regular practice schedules; maintains attendance forms, insurance records, and related documents; supervises safety conditions; helps establish academic eligibility criteria and enforces the code of conduct; recommends equipment and supplies as appropriate; performs other related duties as assigned by district leadership. Requirements include coaching experience, knowledge of the sport, a teaching certificate (preferred), and the ability to pass a criminal background check and hold a valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- Previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport
- Knowledge and/or background in the assigned sport
- Teaching certificate and experience preferred
- Must be able to pass criminal background check
- Valid drivers license
