ASSISTANT COACH - Freshman Football (Head coach)

Job Summary
Assist the Head Coach with planning and leading practices and competitions for the 9th grade football program; support development of student-athletes’ skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship; promote academic achievement and personal growth; supervise and ensure safety during activities; help manage equipment and maintain team standards of conduct; model professional behavior and comply with school, district, league, and state athletic association rules. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and coaching or playing experience; CPR/First Aid and NFHS certification are preferred. Strong communication and collaboration with school staff is essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some coaching or playing experience in the sport (preferably at the high school level)
- Basic understanding of the game, rules, and strategy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Head Coach and school staff
