Job Summary
Assistant Coach – Boys Wrestling at Downingtown Middle School. Support the head coach by maintaining equipment and facilities, and performing administrative duties. Schedule and supervise practice sessions, organize team events, and help foster a positive team environment to support student learning. The role requires wrestling experience, effective interpersonal and communication skills, and compliance with all background checks and district procedures for transporting students. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Wrestling experience required
- Previous coaching experience preferred
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Must successfully complete and maintain compliance with all federal and state background and criminal record checks
- Must meet DASD procedures for transporting students (including motor vehicle record check)
