Job Summary
Collaborate with the Head Coach to develop and implement all aspects of a successful NCAA Division III athletics program. Coach and teach sport-specific skills during practices and competitions while coordinating player development through skill enhancement and individualized instruction. Assist with practice planning, game strategy, scouting, and video analysis, and analyze game film and statistical data to improve individual and team performance. Conduct pre-season, in-season, and post-season player evaluations and assist with recruiting academically and athletically qualified student-athletes. Monitor student-athlete academic progress and coordinate administrative responsibilities including team travel, food orders, equipment, apparel inventory, and purchasing. Maintain NCAA, MIAA, and institutional compliance while working with the Athletics Compliance Director. Perform additional duties as assigned, including Game Day Manager, Game Day Experience Coordinator, home event concession coordination, student worker supervision, wellness program support, recreational sports assistance, and Sports Information support. This full-time, 10-month position requires evening, weekend, holiday, and travel commitments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Understanding of NCAA Division III rules and regulations
- Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/AED and First Aid certifications
- Ability to successfully complete the NCAA Division III Rules Test
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with coaches, student-athletes, faculty, and staff
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive student-athlete experience
- Full-time, 10-month position
- Evening, weekend, holiday, and travel commitments
- CPR/AED and First Aid certifications
- Mandatory reporter status in accordance with College policy
