Job Summary
Assistant Coach (8th Grade Track) will assist the head coach in organizing, developing, and leading the 8th grade track program; duties include coordinating practice planning, skill development, designing competition strategies, mentoring student-athletes, assisting with camps, collaborating with other coaches, and ensuring adherence to district, conference, and state rules and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid coaching license through the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners or the ability to obtain it prior to the start of the season.
- Previous experience coaching, preferred.
- Strong knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, instruct, and supervise students athletes and a coaching staff.
