Assistant Coach /7th Boys Basketball - John Adams Middle School

Conduct 7th-grade boys basketball practices and games while adhering to district, state, and conference policies. Establish safety and health rules, enforce proper conduct, and ensure athletes leave the building by 6:00 pm on Wednesdays. Manage equipment inventory, file rosters into the Bound Platform, and submit transportation requests with school-authorized vehicles only. Instruct athletes on skills, conditioning, and equipment care; warn players of injury risks; and monitor attendance for evening events. Enforce eligibility rules, sportsmanship, and disciplined behavior at all times. Complete injury reports when appropriate and maintain proper paperwork including physicals, concussion forms, and parent permissions. Cooperate with the head coach and Activity Director, attend all designated meetings, and accept delegated responsibilities.
