Job Summary
Assistant Club Manager in Training (AMIT) collaborates with the Club Manager to provide leadership and direction within the club, guiding departments the AMIT will oversee (Merchandising, Perishables, or Member Experience). The role focuses on developing talent, ensuring policy/procedure execution, member service excellence, and maintaining GOLD standards and proactive operations. Responsibilities include leading audits, coordinating with Business Partners, overseeing onboarding and training for food safety, and serving as Manager on Duty as needed. The role emphasizes building high-performing teams, driving results, and maintaining compliance and safety across departments, with emphasis on leadership development, performance coaching, and effective utilization of reporting tools to drive results. Qualifications include ServSafe certification, forklift operation, potential propane oversight qualifier in Florida, and strong leadership, communication, and training skills. The pay range is disclosed starting at $61,500; compensation may vary by location and experience.
Required Qualifications
- A valid ServSafe Food Safety Certification is required and must be maintained in good standing
- Forklift operator certification is required
- Qualifier certification through the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services for retail propane oversight (Florida) and related online video exam
- 4+ years of experience as a retail store, supermarket, or warehouse operations manager
- High school diploma and/or college degree preferred
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, MS Excel, Email) required
- Open shift availability required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
