Job Summary
Oversee daily operations for assigned departments including Merchandising, Perishables, or Member Experience, ensuring consistent execution of GOLD standards and food safety protocols. Recruit, hire, and onboard team members while managing labor planning and scheduling aligned with sales trends. Drive inventory control, shrink management, and sales performance through accurate reporting and data analysis. Enforce member experience standards such as Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate and resolve member concerns to maintain premium service levels. Conduct performance reviews, mentor future leaders, and support succession planning to develop high-performing teams. Maintain equipment, ensure compliance with OSHA and cold chain regulations, and execute special initiatives like seasonal resets. Operate forklifts as required and serve as Manager on Duty during shifts. Maintain full attendance and availability for open shifts.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a retail store, supermarket, or warehouse operations manager
- A strong drive for results and solid work ethic
- Must be honest, straight-forward and committed to providing high levels of service to members
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to lead and motivate a large team
- Solid understanding of shrink controls, staff development, merchandising, customer service, problem solving, and conflict resolution
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including managing/supervising cross-functional teams, training team members, and driving and communicating results
- Knowledge of store operations, membership, front-line, gas station, tire bay, maintenance, receiving, and omni procedures
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Servsafe certification
- Forklift operator
- Open shift availability
- At least 18 years of age
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, MS Excel, Email)
