Job Summary
Oversee daily operations across assigned departments including Merchandising, Perishables, or Member Experience by enforcing GOLD standards, managing labor plans, and driving sales performance. Recruit, hire, and onboard team members while conducting performance reviews and mentoring future leaders. Lead audit compliance efforts, ensure food safety, and operate equipment such as forklifts as needed. Serve as Manager on Duty during shifts to handle member engagement and resolve operational issues. Maintain equipment, execute seasonal transitions, and utilize reporting tools to identify trends. Requires ServSafe certification, forklift operation, and open shift availability.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience as a retail store, supermarket, or warehouse operations manager
- A strong drive for results and solid work ethic
- Must be honest, straight-forward and committed to providing high levels of service to members
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to lead and motivate a large team
- Solid understanding of shrink controls, staff development, merchandising, customer service, problem solving, and conflict resolution
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including managing/supervising cross-functional teams, training team members, and driving and communicating results
- Knowledge of store operations, membership, front-line, gas station, tire bay, maintenance, receiving, and omni procedures
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Servsafe certification
- Forklift operator
- Open shift availability
- At least 18 years of age
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Word, MS Excel, Email)
