Job Summary
Assistant Closing Manager leads and directs club operations during closing, overseeing Recovery, Utility, and Perishable departments (Produce, Meat, Bakery, Deli, Dairy/Freezer), ensuring cleanliness, stock, and readiness for morning open; provides leadership, enforces food safety and audit readiness, and supports training and certification of staff while acting as Manager on Duty as needed. The role emphasizes team development, adherence to GOLD standards, problem resolution, inventory and waste control, cross-functional collaboration, and maintaining safety and operational excellence. Requires ServSafe certification, forklift certification, and a high school diploma; open-shift availability and 18+ age are required. The position involves leadership responsibilities, policy adherence, and delivering a high-quality member experience across the club, with a pay range starting at the stated hourly rate and a focus on achieving KPI targets.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred
- 2 years of experience in retail, supermarket, or warehouse perishable operations preferred
- SERV Safe certification required
- Open shift availability required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
