Job Summary
Lead and operate closing shifts as Assistant Closing Manager at BJ’s Wholesale Club, overseeing Recovery, Utility, and Perishable departments (Produce, Meat, Bakery, Deli, Dairy/Freezer) and overnight prep to ensure club readiness for morning open; drive club performance, coach and develop team members, enforce food safety and audit readiness, and serve as Manager on Duty when needed while delivering a premier member experience and maintaining GOLD standards across departments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- ServSafe certification required
- Experience in retail, supermarket, or warehouse perishable operations preferred
- Open shift availability required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Email) required
- Forklift certification required (yearly)
- Florida propane qualifier certification required for that location (if applicable)
- College degree preferred
