Job Summary
Assistant Closing Manager leads and supports club operations during closing, overseeing Recovery, Utility, and Perishable departments (Produce, Meat, Bakery, Deli, Dairy/Freezer) and overnight prep to ensure readiness for morning open. Responsibilities include enforcing GOLD standards, supervising team members, guiding audit readiness and food safety, coordinating onboarding and certifications, acting as Manager on Duty when needed, and driving cross-functional collaboration to optimize member experience and operational performance. Key skills and duties include leadership and coaching, inventory and perishables management, sanitation and safety compliance, training and certification management (ServSafe, forklift, propane oversight), use of reporting tools and performance dashboards, and delivering consistent execution of closing routines across departments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred
- ServSafe certification required
- Open shift availability
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Experience in retail, supermarket, or warehouse perishable operations preferred
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Word, Excel, Email) required
