Assistant Closing Manager

Oversee end-of-day execution for Recovery, Utility, and Perishable departments, including Produce, Meat, Bakery, Deli, and Dairy/Freezer, ensuring overnight prep is clean, stocked, and ready for morning open. Lead the Closing Manager and MOD duties by walking the floor during closing hours, validating register functionality, and personally resolving member concerns to uphold GOLD standards. Coach Recovery and Utility Clerks on productivity while enforcing sanitation protocols, conducting quality date checks, and managing inventory rotation to drive in-stock levels. Partner with Business Partners to support audit compliance, onboarding, and certification efforts, ensuring all team members maintain ServSafe and required state certifications. Collaborate cross-functionally to close performance gaps in underperforming areas and utilize BJ's MY WORK system to validate execution through electronic reporting and productivity dashboards.
