Job Summary
Assistant Client Manager (Medical Billing) collaborates with the Client Manager and serves as a liaison between Anesthesia Business Consultants and clients. Handles client billing questions, assists with reports/analyses of client statistics to identify issues, coordinates documents/reports for physician meetings, follows up on client inquiries, maintains professional client relationships, investigates billing with insurance companies on denied/rejected claims, monitors billing/collection trends and A/R, reviews pending reports daily, initiates adjustments to accounts per ABC guidelines, tracks non-trust refunds, assists in planning client meetings, proposes solutions to billing problems, contributes to pooled unit administration (input of units, accuracy, end-of-month reports), analyzes billing/collection data, distributes reports, supports billing/collections with staff and management, sets up new/close-out of clients, helps with lockbox/percentage-of-billing transitions, reviews UCR client fees, reconciles client billing fees with corporate finance, coordinates with Compliance Manager for compliance information and audits, ensures timely responses to client billing/payments, and assists in contracting/credentialing by tracking open items.
