Job Summary
Mid-level Assistant City Attorney in the City Attorney’s Office for Community Prosecution. Responsible for applying established legal procedures and precedents across civil litigation, trial work, and civil actions to address neighborhood safety initiatives. The role involves independent legal work, discovery, appearing in court, mediating, and advising on proactive policies with City departments to improve quality of life in Dallas. The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice law in Texas, in good standing, with civil litigation experience and a commitment to public service. Required Qualifications
- Must be licensed to practice law in Texas and be in good standing with the State Bar of Texas
- Two or more years of civil litigation experience
