Job Summary
Assistant Director at Magical Beginnings Learning Center in South Peabody leads center operations and culture, ensures compliance with licensing regulations, manages enrollment and staff development, schedules and payroll within budget, and oversees curriculum development and implementation. The role requires an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or related experience, EEC Director II Certification with ongoing CE, current First Aid/CPR, and 2-4 years of leadership in an early childhood setting. Strong emphasis on licensure readiness, staff coaching, family engagement, and developing a developmental, multicultural curriculum to support children, families, and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or other degree with relevant experience or training
- EEC Director II Certification, active maintenance of annual continuing education requirements
- current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- updated State Registry required
- Minimum of 2-4 years experience in a leadership position in an early childhood education setting
